New mum Stephanie Davis hits back at ex Jeremy McConnell claiming he’s ‘never reached out’ and she’s ‘alone’ with her son

STEPHANIE Davis has hit back at her ex Jeremy McConnell, claiming he has "never reached out" to her.

Former Hollyoaks star Stephanie welcomed her baby boy this week following a 48 hour labour, and her rep has confirmed that both mother and baby are doing well.

Her ex and former Celebrity Big Brother star Jeremy spoke out almost immediately, insisting he reached out to Steph "some weeks ago", and promised he would "step up" to support his son "if he is his".

However, Steph has since blasted the claims, and her rep told the : "He has never reached out and she's all alone with her son.

"She is happy, but disappointed and saddened that Jeremy would resort to the media to peddle lies."

While former Hollyoaks star Stephanie has always insisted Jeremy is the father, he previously denied it - and insisted he wants a DNA test as proof.

Jeremy said in an exclusive statement to the Sun Online earlier today: "I am delighted that Steph has safely had the baby, of course if he is my son I will absolutely step up and do what I can to support him.

"Any timescale for that is in Steph's hands now.

"I did reach out to her some weeks ago but didn't hear back."

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Stephanie confirmed the news and told OK! Online: "We can confirm our client Stephanie Davis today gave birth to a baby boy in Liverpool.

"Mother and baby are doing fine."

Stephanie has always insisted the father of her baby is ex Jeremy, but he previously denied it.

The pair split up shortly after their stint in Celebrity Big Brother, amid a string of explosive rows.

They haven’t been pictured together in months, and it’s not clear if Jeremy plans to be part of the baby’s life.

He insisted previously however that he will be responsible IF the baby is his, saying: "If I was a dad, I’d be 100 percent no, 110 percent, the best dad in the world.”

Meanwhile, Stephanie has recently found new love – claiming her pregnancy helped her find a man.

An insider has told magazine: “Steph jokes to her family that the pregnancy helped her find love.

“She’s had to play the relationship cooler and be less intense because she needs to concentrate on the baby and setting up her new life.

“Her boyfriend has seen the best side of her rather than the wild Stephanie she used to be.”
