Johnny Depp and Amber Heard FINALLY close their divorce proceedings for good after months of fighting
THE warring exes had previously agreed on a $7million payout - only for Amber to re-open the case months later
JOHNNY Depp and Amber Heard are FINALLY officially divorced - nearly eight months after they separated.
In a hearing in a court in Los Angeles on Friday, the judge declined Amber's request to delay the finality of the divorce to take Johnny's deposition, reports .
According to the US site, the Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny and his Rum Diary co-star Amber came to a £5.7million ($7million) settlement back in August, but Amber then claimed legal documents requesting more.
In response, Laura Wasser, Johnny’s divorce lawyer, has reportedly said the move was “a blatent attempt to extend [Amber’s] fifteen minutes of fame” and “an embarrassing grab for additional and unwarranted attorney’s fees.”
The judge also declined another twist in the pair’s complicated end to their 15-month marriage after reported Johnny allegedly requested a $100,000 sanction fee.
However, Johnny's team had vehemently denied the claims and brushed them off as 'laughable'.

Amber had previously announced that she was going to donate the money from the split directly to charities after she claimed Johnny was physically abusive to their relationship.
However, in August, Heard slammed Depp for giving her $7million divorce settlement money directly to the charities– as it means he will get a charitable deduction.
Pirates of the Caribbean’ star Johnny’s reps confirmed on Thursday he had sent “the first of multiple installments” to Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and the American Civil Liberties Union.
However, Amber’s team have hit out at the donation, telling TMZ: “If Johnny wishes to change the settlement agreement, we must insist that he honour the full amount by donating $14M to charity, which after accounting for his tax deduction, is equal to his $7M payment obligation to Amber."
