MOVE over Gary Barlow, it turns out Sir Elton John is the man inspiring Barry Keoghan’s eclectic style.

A pal told me the Saltburn star nipped into Elton’s favourite tailor, Richard James in London’s Savile Row, to buy some new clobber on Tuesday.

Looking back, I realise that while I thought Barry was just a Take That superfan – thanks to his collection of sleeveless tops – it was actually Elton he looked up to all along.

A quick search on Google showed how Barry had previously kitted himself out in bold two-pieces similar to Elton’s with Barry even sticking on a broach just like his style icon.

I’m sure Elton will be thrilled.

Imitation, as they say, is the sincerest form of flattery.

ROMAN SURRENDERS HIS THRONE

I REVEALED on Saturday that my favourite radio DJ Jordan North would be taking over from Roman Kemp on Capital FM’s Breakfast Show after ditching Radio 1.

And the pair confirmed my story, with Jordan dropping into the station’s London studio to make the announcement.

Jordan, who hosted the Drive Time show on Radio 1 with Vick Hope, grinned as Roman dropped to one knee and handed over a branded microphone cover.

Roman, who has been on the show since 2017, said: “So there you have it, sports fans. I’m handing over the baton at the end of March.

“Jordan North will be your new host of Capital Breakfast. Couldn’t have gone to a better person. Top lad, and will be a great addition to your morning routine. You’ll smash it, bud.”

Jordan later shared a picture of himself to confirm the news, with Roman – son of Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp– writing underneath: “What’s his dad famous for?”

Jordan will now go head to head with Radio 1’s Breakfast Show host Greg James in the all-important battle for ratings . . . which is the last thing bosses over at the Beeb would ever want.

Let battle commence.

CAUGHT LIVE: KIM IS ON HER BEAST BEHAVIOUR

IT’S not just the voice, dance moves or the ridiculously catchy songs that make Kim Petras a great performer.

Her decades-long obsession with pop also means she can put on the ultimate show.

The expertly crafted Feed The Beast tour show featured clear influences from Madonna and Britney Spears.

But make no mistake, she is no replica. She has carved out a path of X-rated pop mixed with big, sugary-sweet choruses to win over a hardcore and dedicated fan base.

They were out in force as she served up pop excellence with a string of costume changes, big-budget visuals and mountains of stage presence.

Songs such as I Don’t Want It At All and Coconuts went down a treat, even more so than her Grammy and Brit-winning hit Unholy.

A handful of tracks from her axed debut album Problematique didn’t hit quite as hard.

But as soon as Kim elevates to arena shows, she will be a tour de force.
