Jamie O’Hara promises Nicola McLean he will back her up to husband Tom Williams after their boozy flirting, as she admits he’ll ‘hate her’
JAMIE O'Hara has promised to back Nicola McLean up to her husband Tom Williams following their boozy flirting in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The football star comforted the worried model last night, and complimented her on her time on the show so far.
After he gave his friend a quick massage, Jamie told her: "You're coming across amazing, you genuinely are. Seeing you on that screen today I thought... Everyone's going to love you."
Nicola then said: "Not Tom though, getting drunk and... he'll take it as a banter?"
Jamie immediately tried to reassure her, before Nicola said: "No he won't he'll hate me!"
Jamie then replied: "He knows me he knows I'm not going to throw you under the f***ing bus."
Always on hand, Calum Best joked: "You against Tom, yeah I didn't even like him now. I hate him.
"[Nicola's] got 20 more days with us, we'll break this chick! Tom, just kidding!"
It comes after Nicola's husband Tom broke his silence over his wife’s antics earlier this week.
The footballer tweeted to defend his wife after she was filmed kissing Jamie and inviting him into her bed, by claiming Nicola had spent the day with a psychiatrist while in the house.
He tweeted: "Interesting that @bbuk didn't show that Nicola has been with a psychiatrist all day @Rylan @EmmaWillis."
It comes after Nicola was seen bragging that she's got a "free card" in the Celebrity Big Brother house, after hubby Tom "f***ed up so bad".
The star shocked viewers as she got flirty with footie ace Jamie before sharing a kiss on the cheek and hinting the pair have locked lips before.
Just hours later the star woke up worried she'd gone too far as she asked her housemates: “Is Tom gonna hate me?”
Attempting to keep the star calm, Angie Best admitted she might have some “explaining to do”.
Seemingly unphased, Nicola then made reference to allegations her hubby had cheated on her previously.
“I don’t have to explain anything, that’s the joy of when someone f***s up so bad, you’ve got a free card,” she joked.
Nicola split from her husband in 2014 following his alleged affair in Las Vegas, and speaking about her heartbreak at the time, she said: "He knows he's never going to get anyone better than me!
"It's all still raw. He's only just realised what he's lost. It's all still really hard.
"He's definitely trying to win me back, but I'm not sure if that's a good thing.
"I love and respect Tom as a friend and as the father of my kids. I'll always be there for him."
The football star has known the model for years, is good friends with Tom and shortly after sent his pal a message.
"Don't worry, Tom, it's cool," he said as the pair continued their close cuddling. "I know her husband, it's cool," he added.
Jamie later gushed over his love for the star and her hubby, before they shared a friendly kiss.
The pair were sat in the smoking area enjoying some drinks when they began discussing their close friendship.
Despite Austin Armacost running out in just his pants, announcing he wants a hot tub party, both Jamie and Nicola ignored his antics and continued to chat.
Turning to Jamie Nicola said: "I know you hate me."
He quickly corrected her, saying: "No, I love you."
Jamie later said that he "loves Tom” and therefore loves his “missus”.
He added: “Cos she’s an angel.”
The star revealed he promised to “look after” her during their time in the house, before they shared some pally kisses on the cheek.
As Calum Best watched, he asked them to "kiss on the lips", to which Jamie admitted: "I'd love to, but I have too much respect for my bruv."
Nicola joked: "We've done it before."
Later on in the bedroom Nicola said she was “so drunk” as she tried to get into bed, leaving her friend amused at the action on the other side of the room.
As Jamie watched, he offered to help before joking: “You haven’t even got your pyjamas on.” Nicola giggled before eventually hiding under her duvet.
However, a source told The Sun Online: "She has never kissed Jamie O'Hara and that wasn't what her remark meant."
Jamie is single following his split from model Danielle Lloyd in 2014 after he was allegedly caught cheating with office worker Suzanne Millner.
The pair’s feud began years ago, but now Danielle is said to be feeling the pressure.
A source exclusively told The Sun Online: “Danielle must be worried about what Jamie will say in the house. They shared two-and-a-half years as a married couple and they’ve got three kids together, so he knows everything about her.
“It couldn’t come at a worse time, as Nicola is also going in to the house. They’re bound to discuss their shared connection to Danielle soon enough.”
