Inside Masked Singer host Joel Dommett’s love story with model wife Hannah after they welcome first baby together
COMEDIAN Joel Dommett and his wife Hannah welcomed their first child together in September 2023.
As the lovebirds settle into life as a family of three, here’s a look at where their love story began.
Fans of the comedian might be surprised to find out how the pair met.
The couple's modern love story began in 2016 when the Dutch-born model drunkenly sent him a message on Instagram with a cat emoji, shortly after his appearance on I’m A Celebrity.
“It’s mad coming out of the jungle. I went from 11,000 followers to 350,000," Joel previously told us.
“I remember going through the direct messages, not knowing if I was meant to read them all.

“She [Hannah] always jokes that she was just at the top of the pile.
“I clicked on hers. We started chatting and I was blown away by how funny she was.
“We had our first date a few days later. She didn’t stop talking.”
The pair eventually began dating and were first spotted together in May 2017.

Fast forward to September 2019 and the couple said “I Do” in a stunning beach wedding in Mykonos in front of their closest friends and family.
Instead of choosing a traditional ceremony, Joel and Hannah asked their friend and Love Island narrator Iain Stirling to officiate the wedding.
Unable to hide his excitement, Joel shared the first snap from their nuptials on his Instagram.
In the snap, Hannah wore a stunning cream strapless gown, while Joel looked dapper in a dark blue suit.
He said: "She was about to get home and I had lit, like, 150 candles or something. I got so hot, I was sweating! I put on this classical music and it was just really bumming me out.
"She was about to get home and I quickly changed it to a soundtrack classical playlist.
"She came in and I got down on one knee and honestly, the moment I said: "Will you marry me?" the Jurassic Park theme tune came on."
The pair announced they're expecting their first child in May 2023 by sharing a series of black and white photobooth images where Hannah was showing her bump.
They kept fans updated throughout their pregnancy journey on their Instagram pages.
Then in September, Joel and Hannah shared the lovely news that they welcomed a baby boy.
Sharing an adorable black and white photo of their baby's feet, the pair revealed their son's name - Wilde Cooper-Dommett.
Captioning the post, Hannah wrote: "Wilde Cooper-Dommett. Pinterest perfect baby feet that are already bigger than his Dad's."
Away from his new marriage, Joel's career has gone from strength to strength.
He was a huge hit when he was a finalist on I'm a Celebrity in 2016.
This saw him go on to host the show's spin-off show Extra Camp.
The funnyman has hosted The Masked Singer since 2020 and now hosts its spin-off - The Masked Dancer.
Joel has also been the host of the National Television Awards since 2021.
but despite his successful career, Joel credits his wife Hannah for keeping him grounded.
The comedian told The Sun he defaults to the beauty when considering what job offers to accept and which to turn down.
He said: “Hannah is really important for me. I met her at the perfect time.
“I feel if I didn’t meet her when I did I probably wouldn’t be where I am right now and if I was here I would probably be a horrific human being.

“She keeps me grounded and happy. Without sounding all mushy, you know you have met the one when they make you a better person and Hannah definitely makes me a better person.
“She helps me make the right decisions. I think my life and career would have gone down a completely different path if it wasn’t for her.”
