DEVASTATED Kym Marsh fought back tears as she consoled a heartbroken This Morning viewer who cried on air as she talked about the death of baby.

The Coronation Street star relived her own still birth nightmare as she turned agony aunt today to talk to a woman named Paula who broke down on TV.

Kym, who lost a son named Archie in 2009, appeared on the show today just hours after her own personal drama was replayed in a heartbreaking Corrie storyline as her character Michelle lost a baby late in her pregnancy.

She agreed to help other women going through a similar ordeal by hosting a This Morning phone-in with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield today.

The Corrie beauty appeared to fight back tears as she spoke to Paula, who broke down as she talked about the emotional ordeal of losing her baby daughter at 36 weeks.

The actress relived her own harrowing loss of baby son Archie in the soap, as her character Michelle Connor and husband Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) lost baby Ruairi just 23 weeks into the pregnancy.

The 40-year-old and ex-husband Jamie Lomas were left devastated in 2009 was born 18 weeks early and died within minutes.

Kym opened up about the loss during an emotional interview with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield today.

She also helped host a phone-in which brought her close to tears as she tried to help Paul come to terms with the loss of her little girl.

Paul admitted she was struggling to cope with the loss, and Kym praised her for reaching out to talk about her grief.

She said: "Thank you for reaching out."

Kym added that she also struggled with losing Archie and it took her a long time to move on with her life.

She said: "It's like rebuilding your life because a piece of the jigsaw is missing."

 told The Sun Online they "really admired" Kym Marsh's "bravery in filming these scenes and think her acting in last night’s episode was particularly powerful and sensitive".

Her co-star Simon Gregson also revealed he and his wife Emma had lost 11 babies and spoke of how he felt "helpless" as he tried to support his other-half through the ordeal.
