Victoria Beckham admits she regrets her boob job and feels ‘stupid’ for denying she had gone under the knife

The former Spice Girl opens up in a self-penned letter

VICTORIA Beckham has admitted she regrets her boob job and feels "stupid" for ever denying the op.

In a letter penned to her 18-year-old self for , the former singer and mother-of-four speaks candidly about her cosmetic surgery.

Victoria, 42, said: "I should probably say, don’t mess with your boobs.

"All those years I denied it – stupid. A sign of insecurity. Just celebrate what you’ve got."

The straight-talking letter was originally run by the publication in their October issue last year in an article titled 'What I Wish I'd Known', but an unabridged version now features in the February issue.

In the lengthy piece, Victoria covers everything from being bullied at school, to auditioning for the Spice Girls, meeting her husband David Beckham and wishing she knew more about the "offside rule."

She wrote: "And yes, love at first sight does exist. It will happen to you in the Manchester United players’ lounge – although you will get a little drunk, so exact details are hazy."

The pair married in 1999 and are parents to Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11 and five-year-old Harper.

The designer goes on: "He still has the London-to-Manchester plane ticket on which you wrote it," before adding that most of he first dates "will be in car parks", so as not to let anyone see them together.

Despite touching on being bullied as a teenager in a "freezing playground" while other pupils "threw soggy tissues and old Coke cans" at her, she also hands out both beauty and career advice.

"Let your skin breathe; wear less make-up. (And don't ever let that make-up artist shave your eyebrows! The effects last forever.)"

And on the group that shot her to fame: "

Do answer an ad in The Stage, looking for candidates to form a new girl band. Line up around the block and audition to change your life."
