Who won at the Oscars 2017, who hosted the Academy Awards, who performed and what was the La La Land and Moonlight gaffe?
LAST year's Oscars was certainly a memorable fair, ending with one epic gaffe when Warren Beatty announced the wrong winner in the Best Picture category.
The 89th Academy Awards took place on Sunday February 26, 2017 and we've got the results of the major categories. Here's everything you need to know...
Who hosted the 2017 Academy Awards?
Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel did a great job as the master of ceremonies, doing enough to earn a repeat invite in 2018.
The 2017 Oscars won’t be the first major awards show he’s hosted; he also took the helm for the 2016 and 2012 Emmy Awards, the 2007 ESPYS, and the American Music Awards five times.
Previous presenters include Ellen DeGeneres, Neil Patrick Harris, Seth MacFarlane and Chris Rock.
Who was nominated for the top gongs and who won?
Unsurprisingly, the much-talked about La La Land had an impressive FOURTEEN nominations, including Best Leading Actor and Best Leading Actress for Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone - it took home six awards. It was very nearly seven after Warren Beatty incorrectly announced the movie as winner of Best Picture. The team were up on stage in the middle of their acceptance speech when they were stopped and the error was announced - the winner was actually Moonlight.

When was the Academy Awards ceremony and where was it held?
The Academy Awards were handed out to their winners in a lavish ceremony on February 26 2017.
It was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
What are the Academy Awards?
The Academy Awards is an annual ceremony hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Now in its 89th year, the show (dubbed The Oscars after the man-shaped statuette received on winning) is considered by most in the entertainment industry as the highest honour to receive in recognition for their work on and off screen.
The Academy is a 6,000-strong group made up of film industry professionals such as actors, directors and producers - making the awards stand-out against shows such as the Golden Globes as it is a vote by the nominees' peers.
Who perfomed at the ceremony?
The American singer Sara Bareilles performed as the tributes section were screened at this year's ceremony.
Sara's most famous hits in the UK are the 2007 chart-topper Love Song, and the 2013 single Brave - which was used as part of the Disney and Pixar film of the same name.
Sara sang a beautiful version of Both Sides Now at the show - and it was certainly a tearjerker.
