Lorraine Kelly reveals her diet secrets after losing two stone and… she still eats chocolate
TV star shared weight loss tips, but admitted she still keeps an emergency stash of sweet treats at home
LORRAINE Kelly has revealed her diet secrets after losing a massive two-stone, and admitted she still eats chocolate.
The TV star has given herself a major makeover by overhauling her diet and exercise regime, but she still treats herself to a delicious snack every so often.
Lorraine, 57, admits she used to be a "big lass" until she embarked on a healthy-eating campaign and started exercising regularly.
She has now explained exactly how she slimmed down, revealing "portion control" is a huge part of keeping healthy.
The TV star also credited exercise with helping boost her confidence, but she insisted diets and exercise should not make you miserable.
Lorraine is adamant that overly-strict eating plans "do not work" and dieters should still be able to have a treat now and then.
Lorraine, who fronts ITV’s daytime show of the same name, previously revealed £5 exercise classes have helped her shed the pounds.
She gushed: “Over the last couple of years I’ve been going to exercise classes with my friend Maxine just over the road in a wee church hall in Mile End (London.)
“It only costs a fiver. We get hot and sweaty and that actually gives me energy!
“Plus, it clears my head when I’m stressed or feeling overwhelmed.”
Lorraine has launched her own workout DVD, Lorraine Living To The Max, with her friend Maxine Jones.
