Oritsé, who is one of the members of X Factor group alongside Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, and JB Gill, said he's been working hard to produce fresh tracks that will show his "authentic self".

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Oritsé said: "I still tour with the boys, but as far as music I've got solo music coming out.

"Last year I was top five in the black music charts with my record Showdown.

"The new music, I've got some incredible collaborators.

"One of my collaborators is actually an actor in the Bob Marley movie, so I've been in the studio.

"To be honest, I've been going back to my roots, when you transition from a group to solo, people go 'what are you going to do different?'

"I'm going to be authentically myself, not that I wasn't in my group, I enjoyed being in my group but this time there is no filters.

"This is me embracing my African Caribbean culture and the fact that I'm from London city, all mixed up.

"So it's just easy for me to go into the studio and write from my heart and I'm enjoying it.

"In a few months you're going to get something.

"The next record is on the chain, so it's going to be dope."

When asked who he would like to collaborate with, Oritsé teased: "I love how unapologetic Raye is but I love Little Simz, for me Little Simz is one of the greatest rappers that have ever come out of the UK - not just female, rappers...male or female.

"Her content, her substance just speaks to me.

"When she dropped that tune Gorilla, I thought we've got another Lauryn Hill on our hands."

It comes after the JLS boys reunited for an epic tour last year.

The boys put on a show packed with hits as they launched into their biggest crowd-pleasers.

Aston Merrygold told The Sun: “We’ve enjoyed adding the DJ section in the set this year, me and Marv going back to back with JB (Gill) and Oritse (Williams) hyping the crowd. It’s been going off.

“While we DJ there’s a moment the other boys go into the crowd and walk around the arenas, but we were pretty concerned the further north we got that we wouldn’t return to the stage with any clothes left as it was getting rowdier and rowdier.”

Marvin added: “And thanks for coining the name ‘DJLS’ last year Simon, we’ve taken that.”

They will return for a run of outdoor gigs next summer, giving Marvin a chance to chill out and recover after his stint Down Under.

Oritse explained: “This arena tour has been incredible. We didn’t know what to expect having done a comeback tour only two years ago, but the reception from the fans has been amazing.

“We don’t want it to end, to be honest, but we’re glad we’ve got the opportunity to do it all over again next summer at a run of outdoor shows.”
