Jeremy McConnell jets off on lads’ holiday to Thailand… but not before posting Snapchat ‘aimed at pregnant ex Steph Davis’
Just a year ago the Irish hunk was loved-up in the CBB house
JEREMY McConnell has jetted off on a lads' holiday just days before ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis gives birth.
The reality star - who entered the Celebrity Big Brother house exactly one year ago today - flew to Thailand with a group of pals yesterday.
But while most holidaymakers prowl the terminal looking for duty free bargains or a pub, the 26-year-old appeared to use his downtime pre-flight to make a dig at Steph.
He shared a selfie on Snapchat with the caption: "Waiting for u son ♥ ".
Steph, 23, is due to give birth to a baby boy at any moment - and although Jeremy has always denied being the tot's dad, she is adamant that he is.
This morning Jeremy shared another picture of himself on Instagram looking relaxed in a white towelling dressing gown and sipping on a can of local Singha beer.
Meanwhile Steph has been off social media since Christmas as she prepares for motherhood - with fans on tenterhooks waiting for news of her imminent arrival.
A source close to Steph told The Sun online: "This is just another example of Jeremy trying to rile Stephanie.
"Even when she is hours away from giving birth, he can't just do the right thing and show her even an ounce of support or respect.
"Perhaps he genuinely doesn't believe he's the father of her child - or perhaps he's just in denial."
The ex lovers met on last January's series of CBB, with their love blossoming in front of hidden cameras and millions of viewers.
Sadly it was only a few months until things soured, with the pair fighting in hotel rooms and throwing insults at one another on Twitter.
They accused each other of unfounded allegations including drug addiction, sex work and cheating.
When it emerged that Steph - who was kicked off of teen soap Hollyoaks for arriving for work drunk - had fallen pregnant, Jez declared it wasn't his as she had had her period after they broke up.
However a rep for Jez told The Sun online that his Snapchat message was aimed at a missing friend who is jetting out to meet them later, NOT Steph.
They said: "Jeremy is currently in Thailand enjoying a short holiday with friends, which has been booked for some time.
"The Snapchat in question was a direct message to a friend, which is referring to one of his 'boys' - as in friends - joining him later.
"He has an open return ticket should he need to return to the UK before the end of his trip."
Although his rep hints that he might make a dash for Steph's bedside when she does eventually go in to labour, there chances are he won't get far.
Speaking to OK!, she said: "He doesn't deserve to be there. I don't think he wants to be there either."
When asked if she was sad he wouldn't be in the labour ward, Steph said: "No, I'm not really bothered about him anymore.
"I don't think he ever loved me, because you don't lie to or abandon someone you love.
"A baby doesn't fix a toxic relationship, but if he hadn't lied and cheated, it wouldn't have been toxic.
"He also shouldn't have decided he wanted a child."
The fun-loving brunette has also said her baby will take her surname, Davis.
Meanwhile, in her OK! blog Steph has already revealed she plans to film her birth so she can watch it back whenever she wants.
She said: "I'm even thinking about filming [the birth] as it would be nice to have a personal memory to watch back when I want.

“I think my mum will be too excited to concentrate on filming though!”
However Steph’s birth team might have to get the cameras ready soon, as she’s convinced that he baby boy is going to arrive before his January due date.
“I've also started to experience Braxton Hicks which keep waking me up in the night! They are painful but it didn't compare to what I recently went through in hospital,” she explained.
“I honestly can't imagine my baby making it to my due date, the pains and him are so strong now I'm convinced he will come early.”
