RYLAN Clark-Neal had to present his This Morning segment from the back of a black cab after getting struck in traffic due to London tube strike.
The TV star was unable to make it to the ITV studio in time to host his entertainment slot, so he improvised using his phone.
Rylan, 28, was unable to take public transport to the This Morning studio today because of a strike by London Underground workers.
The industrial action brought train services to a halt and left the capital's streets gridlocked.
Rylan jumped in a black cab in a bid to make it to the studio in time, but he got stuck in a monster traffic jam.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield kept viewers updated about his progress but it soon became clear that he would not make it in time.
They joked about the absent host when introducing his slot, by showing a doll made to look like the the TV star.
They then cut to Rylan sitting in the back of a cab using his phone to present the segment.
