Dannii Minogue reveals sister Kylie’s sadness at not having children and admits she’s ‘always wanted kids’ in emotional chat
The star also revealed she's had Botox in the past to 'hide her emotions' whenever she used to feel upset
DANNII Minogue has revealed her sister Kylie's sadness at never having children, and admitted she was always the one out of the pair of them that wanted to start a family.
The former X Factor judge, 45, has son Ethan, and revealed her sibling is a great Aunt to him.
However, it was always Kylie who "instinctively knew what to do" with kids.
Speaking in the Sunday Telegraph magazine Stella, Dannii gushed over her love of her son, and how her sister always dreamt of being a mum.
She told the mag: "Growing up it was Kylie who always wanted kids and I never did. When my brother Brendan had his little boy (Charles, now 10) I hadn't a clue how to hold him. I remember being really impressed by Kylie because she just instinctively knew what to do.
She added: "Kylie has been incredible with Ethan. She just loves him - I love to see them together."
And while the former X Factor judge revealed how good her sister is with Ethan now, who she describes as "the real sunshine in my life", she has also felt a "sadness" for never having her own kids.
She added: "It's a great sadness for her, it's a great sadness for me and it's also made me really understand how blessed I was to be a mother. Kylie wrote a song called Flower about how she feels about motherhood. It's so beautiful it makes me cry. But you just don't know what is going to happen in life."
