Zayn Malik films video for hit song I Don’t Wanna Live Forever but co-star Taylor Swift hides away from the cameras

The former One Direction star cut a moody figure as fans searched for Taylor in London’s St Pancras Hotel

ZAYN Malik brought the St Pancras Hotel in London to a standstill on Saturday night as he filmed the video for his Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.

The Pillowtalk star shut down the entrance to the posh hotel as the area was soaked with fake rain and smoke for hours.

Zayn’s co-star Taylor Swift was nowhere to be seen however, despite fans spotting her manager on location.

Borja Valladolid was at the St Pancras Hotel and watched the action unfold.

He tells The Sun Online: “Zayn was recording the video for I Don’t Want To Live Forever.

“We saw Zayn walking towards the set and him recording a take outside but we had no chance to see Taylor.

“Her management team were at the hotel but there was no sign of her – not even any pictures of her in London.”

The shoot lasted for over three hours but Zayn was only spotted doing one take outside which lasted for 30 minutes.

Borja adds: “There were some expensive cars, fake fog and fake rain outside.

“The rain and smoke went on for hours but Zayn’s take didn’t last long at all before he went back inside to carry on filming.”

Zayn recorded the song with Taylor thanks to his girlfriend Gigi Hadid – who counts the I Knew You Were Trouble singer as one of her best friends.

He told Elvis Duran: “The interesting thing was, she is friends with Gi, so she already reached out after hearing it because [producer] Jack [Antonoff] had just played her the song anyway and she went in the studio the next day to record it.”

He continued: “She mentioned to me that she liked the song and I already kind of knew in the back of my head that she liked it.

“So I asked her if she wanted to be on it and she was cool with it.”

Straight after the sizzling song was released it raced up the chart and bagged the number one spot.
