MODEL Caprice gives added value as she poses in her lingerie range from high street fashion chain Peacocks.

The 52-year-old US businesswoman launched Loved by Caprice earlier this month, offering affordable bras, briefs, bodysuits and nightwear.

She said: “From a business ­perspective, this isn’t my first rodeo and I know my stuff.

“I know from years of experience lingerie has an impact on how we feel about ourselves.

“A nice set, even if it’s just for you, is empowering.”

American mum of two Caprice was raised in a three-bedroom bungalow in the suburbs of Los Angeles, mainly by her Jewish single mother.

Her business-savvy dad, who owned Bourret Upholstery, left when she was five.

She moved to the UK in the mid-1990s after getting her big break in Vogue magazine, and now considers herself a "true adopted Brit".

She became a household name after wearing a "very risqué" see-through dress for the National Television Awards, with her picture splashed across newspapers' front pages.

Aside from modelling, Caprice has also tried her hand at music and acting, dated a string of famous men, and even thrown herself in front of the cameras on reality TV.
