Louise Redknapp shows off toned abs weeks after revealing Strictly Come Dancing gave her ‘a new lease of life’

LOUISE Redknapp has flaunted her killer abs after admitting Strictly Come Dancing gave her new found confidence.
When the mum-of-two first started on the show she admitted it felt like a “hurdle” adding: “I’m getting older, there is a fine line.”
Just weeks after the competition however, Louise has shown off her incredible figure while on holiday with her husband Jamie.
Posing next to the former footballer, Louise’s washboard stomach and toned legs are accentuated by her pretty bikini.
Another snap, which the 42-year-old shared with her followers on Instagram, shows her lying back on a giant hammock.
When she left Strictly Come Dancing as a runner up – with Ore Oduba leaving with the Glitterball trophy – Louise admitted the BBC One show had given her a new lease of life.
She told : “Strictly has given me a new lease of life.
“I never went into it to get another job or to be more high-profile, I did it for me.

“People will say, ‘Oh yeah right,’ but that’s true. I am happy as a mum, I love being at home doing the odd job. I just wanted to do it for me.
“You realise as the weeks go on that people are voting for you. They are invested in you.
“That has given me a huge confidence boost. I’m now there on a Saturday night and I’m on stage and I have realised again how much I love performing. I’m dancing away with a huge smile on my face.
“Strictly has made me realise I would love to be on stage. If I could wave my magic wand, I would love to do the West End, but I don’t know if that opportunity will ever arise.”
