MAFS star in hospital after getting life changing incurable diagnosis
APRIL Banbury took to Instagram to detail her shock diagnosis after a painful health battle.
The TV star, who appeared on last year's series of the hit E4 show, had previously revealed she was struggling with a difficult condition and has now been in hospital for four days.
Now, she has given her 124K followers an in-depth update on a new diagnosis that has left her unable to "imagine" a normal life.
Detailing the life-changing news on social media alongside a selfie wearing a hospital gown, April explained: "Just before I went to Jamaica I started getting a new pain in my back and my leg and hip went completely numb, with weakness in both legs.
"I gave it a couple of weeks to see if it eased up, but it didn’t, it only got worse. I promised myself I’d listen to my body when I first prolapsed my disc, so I took myself to get it checked out not imagining this would be the outcome.
"I have spinal stenosis (there’s no cure for that, I was told I will have chronic pain for life) my nerves are deeply compressed, but they don’t know whats causing it, so I’m seeing a spinal specialist in a few weeks to investigate."
April went on to say: "It’s going to take sometime for me to process this could be my life now, but I still don’t want to give up hope that one I could be back to some what of a normal life.

"I just can’t imagine living life like this.
The pain is indescribable and constant. I feel like I’m just existing day to day, and now I need a new purpose because life is not as I once knew it.
"It’s crazy because I feel too young to have such a debilitating injury, but it just shows what heavy lifting over a long period of time can cause."
The star also praised her fans, stating: "I know I’m not alone and I love my little back community and hearing your stories too."
She signed off the post by promising: "I will continue sharing my journey with all you."
MAFS fans were quick to share their support in the comment section, with one gushing: "How brave of you to share this, hopefully it will give u some comfort that people you don't even know care all the same."
A second agreed: "Get well soon, very brave and honest."
A third added: "Sending you so much love, April."
The reality star previously explained that lifting a heavy object resulted in her injury, which caused her to ultimately suffer a prolapsed disc which has taken away her ability 'to live a normal life'.
"My ability to live a normal life has been taken away from me and I am now classified as having a disability."
