The Voice UK host Emma Willis – 5 facts about the Celebrity Big Brother presenter you didn’t know
EMMA Willis has fronted some of Britain's most popular reality TV and entertainment shows over the years.
Here are a few things you may not have known about Emma as she hosts The Voice 2018...
1) She's banned her husband Matt from Strictly Come Dancing
She may be the queen of reality TV, but Emma has banned hubby Matt from taking part in Strictly Come Dancing.
She admitted that he would be really good because he’s “an amazing dancer”, but told the Mirror: "I'm a jealous person. If my husband is around a younger, good-looking woman, I'm like, 'Stop looking at them!'
“I don't want him grinding against hot women. I do get jealous, but I think that's normal.”
No chance of Emma and Matt being hit by the Strictly curse then...
2) Emma originally wanted to be a nurse
Emma never planned to go into showbiz – in fact, medicine was her first career choice.
Her mother was an auxiliary nurse and theatre assistant and Emma has revealed that as a child she was obsessed with the human body and biology.
She would do all her teenage work experience at the hospital where her mum worked.
3) She's had to knock back some big name celebs
She’s been happily married to Busted star Matt Willis for the last ten years now but she had no end of suitors over the years – two of which she turned down flat.
Take That star Robbie Williams has admitted that when she was at MTV she repeatedly snubbed every time he asked her out.
And she told Justin Timberlake “You’re not as good-looking in the flesh, are you?” but that didn’t stop him pursuing her for a year, finally giving up when she turned down an invitation to his Brits after-party in favour of Duran Duran.
4) She's friends with Fearne Cotton and once lived with Sophie Anderton
Emma is good pals with fellow presenter Fearne Cotton and her CBB co-host Rylan Clark-Neal.
During her modelling days, she also once shared a flat with model Sophie Anderton – but it’s safe to say they haven’t stayed in touch.
When asked about her experience living with Anderton, Emma told the Daily Mail: "If you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything at all."

5) Emma's ancestor tried to kill a man
Emma discovered that her five-times-great great grandfather Richard Fowler tried to kill a blacksmith and his son.
She was told the shocking tale during a dramatic episode of Who Do You Think You Are in 2017.
Fighting back tears, Emma told the BBC1 show: “That’s horrific. How can you defend doing that to somebody? That was exactly what I didn’t want to find out.”
A newspaper at the time, published around 1797, reported how Richard and two accomplices broke into the home fearing the two men were making weapons for the United Irishmen, a group of Catholics who opposed British rule in the country.
