It all started when she was having a conversation with Nicola McLean about Bianca's mum Sheryl, and what she thought about her going into the house, to which she replied: "She was just worried about me, as she has had a hard time with the press, that she can only see it in a bad light."

Nicola then said: "It's hard, because no one is going to be more loved in your family than your dad, as he is a legend."

Bianca the said: " I think she [her mum] was a bit of a scapegoat, which is ridiculous because she is still helping him [Paul] now, everyday, he is a big part of our lives."

She continued: "I love him, if I could wave a magic wand for him to be better obviously I would do it."

Nicola then said: "It's the worst disease, alcoholism, the worst."

She added: "Can you see him getting better?"

Bianca signed and said: "He needs to be put into rehab.

"I've got fingers, toes, eyelashes crossed that he will get better."

Last week, The Sun on Sunday revealed that Paul Gascoigne met up with Bianca after he had his “first mouthful of booze for ages”.

The former footballer could be seen being comforted by Bianca outside a hotel in Kensington, London.
