Many were quick to insist that Heidi, 17, wasn't wearing a seatbelt - but Kerry has hit back.

She said: "I got a load of backlash for posting an Instagram video in the car with Heidi because people thought she didn't have her seatbelt on.

"What kind of mother do they think I am? She had just had her hair done and put the seatbelt under her arm because it was rubbing her neck. Of course it was on!"

Writing in her column for , Kerry continued: "It's so silly when people try to catch me out and I have to justify myself.

More on Kerry Katona

"Putting their seatbelt on is the first thing I tell my kids to do when we get in the car.

"Plus, I've got a Lamborghini so it would have been beeping the whole journey if we didn't have them on."

Meanwhile Kerry has also revealed she was left "crying in pain" after suffering a post-surgery mishap following an eye lift.

She said: "I've been crying all day because of the pain.

"When I was coming out of surgery I didn't know what I was doing and rubbed my eye and scratched the cornea."

"I've scratched it all on the nerve endings, which my doctor said is 'almost more painful than childbirth' when that happens - and it has been. I've been complaining so much."
