POP star Perrie Edwards has proved there’s no place like home.
Despite a booming bank balance and regularly topping the charts, the Little Mix star ditched the likes of London and Duabi and brought in the New Year at a budget boozer in County Durham.
Revellers were stunned to see the 23-year-old star at West Auckland Working Men’s Club when the clock struck midnight.
Rather than splashing out at a showbiz event, Perrie partied hard in the pub where pints cost just £2.60.
An insider tells us she was “knocking back G&Ts and Jack Daniel’s and coke” until the early hours.
Perrie happily posed with fellow party goers and pub staff during her trip to the boozer.
The star has always been proud of her Northern roots since making it big.
Although she is said to have bought a £1m four-bedroom bungalow in Surrey last year - the star regularly returns back up North to visit family and friends.

The smitten singer is also believed to have bought her family Arsenal-related Christmas gifts for her family last year in a nod to her new romance.
The pop star splashed out on the football team’s merchandise including T-shirts and accessories as things hot up between her and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
According to the Mirror, the 23-year-old is so loved up with her Premiership man that she wanted to show him how much so by buying her family his club’s colours.
A source told the paper: "Things are hotting up between the pair - they love spending time with each other and make each other laugh a lot.
"Perrie has bought her family and friends Arsenal merchandise for Christmas - it shows how much she thinks of him."
Perrie and 23-year-old Alex, who plays as a winger for Arsenal and the England national team, have been dating since November.
