Celebrity Big Brother’s Austin Armacost’s secret boyfriend revealed as NHS worker Darren Banks
CELEBRITY Big Brother’s Austin Armacost said he wanted some ‘eye candy’ inside the house but The Sun Online can reveal he’s already got that at home.
The 28-year-old has been dating NHS business architect Darren Banks since October and friends of Austin have confirmed the pair are smitten.
Austin and Bradford-born Darren have shared numerous loved up holidays together in the past few months including trips to Iceland and Hong Kong.
Friends of the couple describe them as “adorable” with one saying they were “made for each other”.
Another tells The Sun Online: “Austin and Darren have been together for a few months.
“It’s still early days but Austin is totally smitten.”
When Austin entered the CBB house on January 3, he failed to mention Darren in his entrance video and revealed he was hoping there was some “eye candy” inside.
Most viewers believed him to be single however his friend reveals Channel 5 bosses know all about Darren and insists Austin hasn’t hidden their relationship.
They add: “Austin hasn’t kept their relationship from the producers, they are more than aware he is off the market.”
Austin, who first appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2015, has been single since he split with his husband Jake Lee.
Just before he went into the house, he gave a revealing insight into his love life – calling himself an “asexual”.
He said: “I am probably in all honesty the least sexual people you will ever meet.
“As much as I love getting my kit off and showing my bum everywhere, I am like a nun in bed.”
