Madonna facing legal battle after angry fans sue her for ‘false advertising’ after arriving two hours late for tour gig
MADONNA's latest trek may be called the Celebration Tour but not everyone is enjoying the party.
The music icon is facing an awkward legal battle after two disgruntled fans in America have launched a legal bid against her for rocking up late to her New York gigs last month.
The dispute claims her timely tardiness amounts to false advertising.
In legal papers the fans have slammed Madonna for rocking up after 10.30pm at all three shows - despite promoters saying the show would begin at 8.30pm.
The brazen fans' claim the fact she was still on stage gone midnight left them struggling to deal with work and family commitments the following day.
Court docs state: "Many ticket holders who attended concerts on a weeknight had to get up early to go to work and/or take care of their family responsibilities the next day".

The case, which could only happen in notoriously litigious America, has been filed against Madonna's Celebration Tour promoter Live Nation and the venue, the Barclays Center for "false advertising, negligent misrepresentation, and unfair and deceptive trade practices".
But Madonna won't be too Hung Up about the legal dispute.
She previously boasted that 'a Queen is never late' after keeping fans waiting on her 2019 Madame X tour.
Madonna told fans: "There's something that you all need to understand. And that is, that a Queen is never late."

To hammer-home the point she shared a clip of the moment online - alongside the caption "F.A.C.T.S."
The Sun previously told how Madonna risked a £300k fine after breaching The O2's strict 10.30pm Sunday curfew.
Her 140 minute set was abruptly cut short at 11pm after technical issues delayed the show.
Multiple hits including Like a Virgin and Celebration were axed leaving gig-goers gutted.
Madonna's show was a true return to form when The Sun saw it last year so it's a shame her timekeeping skills are risking overshadowing her epic comeback.
