Celebrity Big Brother 2017 star Bianca Gascoigne – 7 things you didn’t know about the model and businesswoman
You know she's Paul Gascoigne's former stepdaughter - but here's 7 facts you haven't heard
REALITY television star and popular glamour model Bianca Gascoigne has been back in the spotlight this year, thanks to her successful stint on Celebrity Big Brother.
The pretty model finished in sixth place, but what else do we know about the stepdaughter of football legend Paul Gascoigne...
Business woman
Bianca's former stepdad, Paul Gascoigne used to be one of the world's most talented football players and at one point was earning a basic salary of £720,000 a year, not counting sponsorships and bonuses.
But while living off the back of Gazza's name might seem like the easy option for many people, that's just not the case with Bianca Gascoigne.
At the club, Bianca manages over 20 members of staff and she's said she is determined for "people to see the real me" during Celebrity Big Brother.
Battle with booze
After taking part in and eventually winning the 2006 series of Love Island, Bianca was thrust into the limelight aged just 19.
She then embarked on a successful modelling career, gaining herself front cover splashes on Loaded magazine and Nuts, as well as appearing in Maxim and FHM.
But she also found herself in drinking more and becoming tangled up in the law, in November 2007, Bianca was banned from driving for 17 months after admitting drink-driving.
And she was later captured falling over on a photoshoot while filming her MTV show The Celebrity Agency after drinking too much.
Finding her voice
Bianca has always been a big fan of singing and in 2012 she was determined to get her music career off the ground so she applied for The X Factor.
The then 25-year-old was already a well-known reality TV star and has even been out partying with Tulisa who was one of the judges at the time.
She took to the stage to sing a rendition of Mary J. Blige’s I’m Goin’ Down but was unfortunately knocked back by all four of the judges.
Gary Barlow said of her performance: "If i could compare you against the other 25-year-olds we've had, it's really not good enough.
"At 25, you should be a lot better than that, in general it was a bit of a mediocre audition."
The exes and her engagement
CJ Meeks:
Before going into the Celebrity Big Brother house, Bianca's most recent boyfriend was MMA cage fighter CJ Meeks.
But this ended after she got with Jamie O'Hara in the famous compound.
Jamie then ruthlessly dumped her in public, without telling her first
Brett Marshall:
Before her romance with CJ, Bianca had been engaged to Brett Marshall, he popped the question back in July 2014.
But after just 10 days, she called it off.
A source told The Sun at the time: "Bianca’s devastated. She is mortified she’s had to call off the engagement.
"She hasn’t fully confided in friends the full reasons for their shock split.
"But she’s realised there was no future in their relationship and knew she had to call it off before they made it down the aisle."
Calum Best:
They appeared on Celebrity Big Brother together, but before that Calum and Bianca were crowned joint winners of the ITV2 show, after she described him as her “dream man”.
In one clip from Love Island, Bianca can be seen arriving at the Love Shack to spend time with Calum.
Speaking in a direct to camera moment, she described the meeting, saying: “When I first saw him he gave me a kiss on the cheek and said ‘thank f*** it’s you’ which was a lovely compliment and very much appreciated."
Health scare
Speaking for the first time about her ordeal to The Sun Online, the 29-year-old has revealed she thought she was going to die when she was left struggling to breathe – despite initially being told she had tonsillitis.
But thankfully, she has now recovered from her worrying health scare and has been out spending time with friends again.
Her relationship with Gazza
Bianca did talk about her stepdad whilst in the CBB house, but she is usually quite private about him
Despite the pair's closeness, Bianca admitted that she avoids talking about the ex-England and ex-Spurs player and has slammed a recent report which she claims wasn't true.
She said: “There’s been various stories written about me and my relationship with my dad which I feel has put me at a disadvantage.
“I try not to speak about my father. I found out about a particular story which claimed to have had direct quotes from me but was completely fabricated.”
The article, which has now been removed online, falsely alleged that Bianca’s worst fear was getting a call from inside the house that the worst had happened.
