ED Sheeran may be celebrating his awards success, but fans are the ones receiving the greatest prize – a brand new album by the singer.

The star dropped his new album Divide on March 3rd and is bringing a brand new tour to the UK. Here's the lowdown...

Ed filmed the official video for Castle On The Hill in Framlingham, Suffolk where he grew up, featuring pupils from his old high school.

Posting to his Instagram page, the Suffolk born singer announced the tracklist of the album.

The album will feature songs:

  • Perfect
  • Galway Girl
  • Happier
  • Hearts Don't Break Around Here
  • New Man
  • What Do I Know?
  • How Would You Feel

The Deluxe edition of the album features an extra four tracks:

  • Barcelona
  • Bibla Be Ye Ye
  • Nancy Mulligan
  • Save Myself

Ed Sheeran's new album is named '÷', following on from his previous two albums: 'X' and '+'.

The ginger heartthrob said: "Every title has its own theme. Multiply was called multiply because it made everything that was on plus bigger.

“From the venues to the songs to the radio plays to the sales.

“I don’t know what the theme on the next album is yet because I haven’t made it.”

What is Ed Sheeran's latest single How Would You Feel (Paean)?

Ed Sheeran's latest song to be released from his new Divide album is called How Would You Feel (Paean).

The Grammy winner teased his 17.3million Twitter followers a day before the launch of the song saying: "How Would You Feel (Paean) comes out tomorrow at midnight wherever you are in the world, its not the next single, but is one of my favzzzzz."

The new song is a ballad that tells the story of two lovers.

It starts with the lyrics: "You are the one, girl / And you know that it's true / I'm feeling younger / Every time that I'm alone with you."

After the whirlwind release of "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill", which enjoyed the UK number one and two spots for a few weeks, the track is sure to be popular among fans.

Ed Sheeran devotees will finally be able to buy the singer's new album on March 3.

Will Ed Sheeran tour in 2017?

Not only has the singer brought out a new album, but he is also hitting the road on a tour this year.

He will be kicking off the tour on March 16 in Italy, and travelling to Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain and the UK, before heading to South and Central America.

Tickets for Ed Sheeran’s first tour since his record-breaking run at Wembley Stadium in July 2015 sold out in just five minutes.

And, almost immediately, tickets started to appear on secondary ticket websites for up to £1000 each.

But there’s still hope of seeing Ed play live as he is due to headline a Teenage Cancer Trust concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Following the announcement of Ed’s new music, many are speculating whether or not he will perform his album at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Radiohead have already been confirmed as headliners, but fans are hoping that the Lego House singer will take the other top spot.
