In a post on Instagram, she said: ";So this happened last night.

"After a lovely dinner with a friend, I was taking a bath and heard a huge bang and noise downstairs.

"Someone sounded like they were trying to get in my house. Luckily a passing farmer saw someone lurking around and thought it was suspicious and called the police immediately.

"Thankfully the police came around in minutes to my home but the two men drove off into my fence with such speed they overturned their car as you can see from the photo above.

"They then ran off into the night and the police couldn’t catch them.

"I just want to say a huge thank you to Hampshire police who came over so quickly and stayed with me. The police were amazing.

"This is happening way to often especially in rural areas. We all need to look after each other.

"Thankfully someone did for me. If anyone knows anything please contact Hampshire police.

"I’m felling very blessed today I wasn’t hurt or anyone else. Keep safe."

Her ex-husband played for Chelsea, Tottenham and Portsmouth during his career.

It comes after after a spate of terrifying raids at stars' homes across the country.

The Sun revealed last month that Grealish's terrified family hit panic buttons as a gang of burglars looted his new home.

Around ten relatives were cheering on the Manchester City star in his televised match at Everton when they heard noises upstairs and dogs barking frantically.

Despite extensive security and perimeter fencing around Jack’s   lavish home, the crooks got in and fled with £1million of watches and jewellery.

Just weeks before, West Ham star Kurt Zouma's family home in Essex was targeted while he was inside.

The robbers also stole jewellery and high-end watches worth £1million - with Zouma forced to miss his team's game against Crystal Palace.

In August Married At First Sight star Sophie Brown was left in a state of shock after two men broke into her home and used her toilet.

The intruders were captured on CCTV and the 30-year-old shared her horror ordeal on her  Story as she asked fans to help identify them.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 10.14pm last night to a report of a suspicious vehicle near Upton Grey.

"It was reported that the occupants of a blue Honda CR-V were shining a lamp around fields in rural areas.

"The vehicle later collided with a fence and it was reported that the occupants fled on foot.

"Officers attended the scene and have launched an investigation. The vehicle has been recovered and seized for examination.
