Jamie O’Hara says he needs the cash from Celebrity Big Brother to pay for pricey divorce from model Danielle Lloyd
HAVING played football for one of the top clubs in the Premier League, you would expect JAMIE O’HARA to have buckets of cash.
But the ex-Spurs and England midfielder is skint after a pricey divorce from former model DANIELLE LLOYD — and says he needs the pay cheque from his Celebrity Big Brother appearance, which kicked off tonight.
In an exclusive interview, he said: “I lost quite a bit in my divorce so it’s always nice to be offered money. At the end of the day we’re here to make a living.
“I lost a few quid. This hopefully gives me an opportunity to build a future for me and my kids.” When asked what he is looking for in his next partner, single Jamie joked: “One that doesn’t take all your money.”
Jamie split from model Danielle in 2014 after the footballer was allegedly caught cheating with office worker Suzanne Millner.
Earlier this year, the pair launched into a war of words on social media over Jamie’s right to see his three sons Archie, Harry and George.
Jamie signed for Tottenham Hotspur as a youngster and became a first team player in the 2007-2008 season.

After a few years at lower league teams, he ended up at Gillingham but had his contract terminated in September after struggling with an injury.
Despite becoming the first active footballer to enter the CBB house, Jamie still hopes to have a future on the pitch after the show.
He said: “I’m probably making it harder for myself by doing this show. But at the end of the day, I’ve got to look at it as a positive and I’d love to play football again.
“I wake up every day dreaming of playing football. I’ve been really unlucky with injuries, and my personal life has also made things quite difficult as well, because managers look at me as a whole package.”
Jamie has always kept quiet about his marriage to Danielle.
It will be interesting to finally hear his side of the story.

Now producers are turning to the London Underground for new romance.
The broadcaster is launching a new dating show this year called Travel Crush that will be hosted by Radio 1 DJ ALICE LEVINE.
The programme, which has already started filming, will see commuters set up on dates with someone who has caught their eye while travelling into the capital each day.
A source revealed: “Thousands of people spend a huge part of their day commuting into London – and many will have their own rush-hour crush.
“This show will give commuters the opportunity to finally reach out to that person they have been admiring from afar.
“It’s going to be a whirlwind of emotions with a few rejections along the way – but it’s definitely going to be the fun new dating show of 2017.”
Bosses are currently on the lookout for more willing contestants who “have a crush on someone they see on their daily commute to work, college or university, but haven’t yet had the courage to approach them.”

New Hollyoaks murder riddle
HOLLYOAKS bosses are set to kill off long-serving character Amy Barnes as part of a new whodunnit storyline.
Amy has appeared in the Channel 4 soap for 12 years after actress ASHLEY SLANINA-DAVIES bagged the role in 2005 while looking for work as an extra.
The mysterious circumstances surrounding her exit will see Amy’s fiancé detective sergeant Ryan Knight – BLUE singer-turned-actor DUNCAN JAMES – investigating her death.
In the wake of her departure, Amy’s children Leah and Lucas will be left without a mother as a tug-of-war develops between Ryan and their dad Ste Hay.
A Hollyoaks source said: “Amy’s death will be a huge shock. Ryan will be left with his colleagues around him investigating.
“Who or what is behind the death will be very unclear and the subsequent fallout will have repercussions throughout the village.”
Last night bosses teased this year’s drama by posting a short trailer to the Hollyoaks website.
In the clip Ryan can be heard calling 999 when he finds a mystery woman unconscious.
Amy’s storylines have included under-age pregnancy, which resulted in the birth of daughter Leah, and domestic violence plots.
She will be sorely missed by fans.
Fans of the High Castle
THE Man In The High Castle was Amazon’s most-watched drama programme last year.
And bosses are so pleased with the Emmy-winning series that they have announced a third season – less than a month after releasing series two.
Set in 1962, the show – starring the brilliant RUFUS SEWELL and RUPERT EVANS – tells an alternative history of what life would be like in America had the Nazis won World War Two.
