PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle were last night roasted at the Golden Globes for “asking the Queen for cash”.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were the butt of the joke when comedian Jo Koy took to the stage and slammed the royals for “being paid millions by Netflix for doing nothing”.
During his opening monologue, the host mentioned The Crown - but quickly turned his attention to Meghan and Harry, who were not in attendance.
He said: "How great was Imelda Staunton in The Crown, wasn’t she amazing?
"Her portrayal of the Queen was so good Prince Harry called her and asked her for money."
As the crowd laughed headded: "Like I said, I didn’t write all of these! That one wasn’t mine!

But he doubled down, adding: "Prince Harry and Meghan will still be paid millions of dollars for doing absolutely nothing - and that’s just by Netflix!"
It comes after the Sussexes were told to come up with more shows for Netflix if they want to be paid £40million in outstanding fees.
The pair launched a documentary on their relationship last year.
Released in two parts, the explosive docuseries lobbed bombs at The Firm - seeing it torn apart by royal experts.

But, despite the attention it drew, it didn't even rank in the top 200 most-watched Netflix shows from January to June.
Months later Harry’s series Heart of Invictus about the Olympic-style games he started for wounded ex-service competitors flopped.
And Meghan’s animated series Pearl, about a girl inspired by historical female figures, was dropped.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are believed to have been paid only half of their reported £81million contract.
But if no suitable follow-ups can be agreed, the outstanding cash will not be handed over, it is claimed.
But the couple will not face a public split similar to their one with Spotify.

Their Archewell company’s £18million deal with the platform was ended by mutual agreement after Meghan, 41, produced only 13 broadcasts in two-and-a half years.
It comes after Harry was dealt a humiliating blow after being left out of Sandhurst’s guide to its most notable graduates.
The duke failed to make the cut for the military academy’s definitive book of 200 people to serve there — despite brother William penning the foreword.
It means he joins outcasts such as fascist leader Sir Oswald Mosley and Waffen-SS Officer Benson Freeman among “traitors and cads” to be omitted.

He even lost out to You’re Beautiful singer James Blunt.
It comes after Harry committed the cardinal sin of boasting about his kills in his memoir Spare and abandoning Queen and country to set up home in California.
