‘Some people can’t even afford food’, say trolls as they slam Molly-Mae Hague for complaining about Maldives holiday

MOLLY-MAE Hague has been cruelly trolled after she complained to her fans about her luxury Maldives holiday.

The Love Island star, 24, and fiance Tommy Fury celebrated the New Year in a five star resort with their 11-month-old daughter Bambi.

On Wednesday, Molly shared a photo of her having lunch in a fancy restaurant as she shielded from the rain.

Clearly unhappy with the downpours, Molly wrote: "Me for the last week hiding from the torrential rain we travelled across the world for."

Some followers were not impressed with Molly's comment, with one hitting back: "Well some people can't afford food, so the fact you're there is amazing."

A second posted: "Well you're always talking about how much you love the rain and autumn, so..."

But other fans were quick to defend Molly, with one saying: "Oh I'm sure those who can't afford food can go to the food back or claim some sort of benefits to get themselves food."

While a second added: "I'm not sure what your comment is trying to achieve."

This person echoed: "Isn't Instagram all about posting what you are doing on a daily basis? I'd be a bit gutted if I'd travelled all that way for the same weather we get at home. It isn't her fault that some people need to visit food banks is it. Just be kind."

Molly and Tommy revealed that they would be prolonging their trip abroad and heading to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Molly first hinted at their ongoing travels by snapping a shot of a cosy hotel room, with a large bed, scattered with rose petals, and a string of balloons with the words: "Welcome home."

She also tagged her location as 'Jumeirah Al Naseem' - a luxury beach hotel in the star-studded city.

Described as a "cool and contemporary beachside retreat" the holiday spot boasts a 'Kids Club', waterpark and an exclusive lounge.

A stay at the hotel will set back guests up to an eye-watering £1K per night.

Writing alongside a sweet snap of her and daughter Bambi, Molly penned: "Extended our trip. Never felt closer to my little girly."
