Emily Atack cruelly mum-shamed just moments after announcing pregnancy as fan spots ‘dangerous’ behaviour

EMILY Atack has been cruelly mum-shamed after she announced her pregnancy - as fans call out her "dangerous behaviour".

The Inbetweeners star, 34, shared the news that she is expecting her first baby with her scientist boyfriend Dr Alistair Garner.

Although she was only pictured with the dad for the first time in September, the star has actually kept her pregnancy under wraps for five months.

In October, Emily shared a post while holidaying in Palermo in Sicily.

She uploaded pictures of her food, including a plate of muscles and another fish dish, while she also appeared to enjoy a glass of wine with her meal.

The comedian and actress also posted another snap of wine and beer bottles alongside a cheese board.

However, it is not clear if the drinks were alcoholic.

Some fans were concerned and raced to comment, with one writing: "If you're 5 months pregnant and pics of you less than 2 months ago eating shell fish and drinking wine, really hoping you didn't know. Congratulations though."

A second said: "She posted glasses of wine just two months ago," with a shocked face emoji.

While another fan defended her and wrote: "Congratulations and I wish you all the best. Please ignore all the negative comments you're bound to get from the mum police. Do what feels right."

Emily shared the happy news with her fans on Saturday.

In an emotional post, she wrote: "Hello Everyone, it’s been a little while but I’m back with some news. I’m delighted to share with you all that we’re having a baby!!

“I’ve never been so happy and utterly terrified at the same time. Please go easy on me. Every day is mixed with thrill, fear, joy, hysteria, topped off with a lot of vomiting - a bit like when you’ve just stepped off of the Oblivion at Alton Towers on a hangover."

Emily went on to talk about how her pregnancy has made her appreciate her body more and she is trying to treat it with care as a child grows inside her.

Although she was only pictured with the dad for the first time in September, the star has actually kept her pregnancy under wraps for five months.

This means she is expecting her first child with Dr Alistair Garner in April.

Emily managed to keep her exciting news a secret until she felt ready to share it with the public.

The first hint that something was up came when she disappeared from Instagram.

At the time the former I'm A Celebrity participant said she was taking a break from social media to "focus on actual real life" after having a "hell of a year".

On her birthday she also shared a bump-free throwback pic, which didn't give away her secret.

Emily was first spotted with the father of her baby this autumn as they went for a pub date in London.

An onlooker said: "Emily was deep in conversation with Alistair.

"She had a cocktail and Alistair ordered a beer.

"Emily looked to be having a great time and couldn’t stop smiling.

"When they left they were holding hands."
