ACTOR Tom Wilkinson has died suddenly at the age of 75.
His agent shared a statement on behalf of the family that read: "It is with great sadness that the family of Tom Wilkinson announce that he died suddenly at home on December 30. His wife and family were with him," the statement read."
"The family asks for privacy at this time."
Wilkinson was a critically acclaimed actor, starring in films such as The Full Monty, Shakespeare in Love, and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
Throughout his career, he received six BAFTA and two Oscar nominations. Wilkinson also won an Emmy for his portrayal of Benjamin Franklin.
