Mikey Chapman, Sam Douglas, James Gillett, Joe Savins and Dave Rawling will be back on stage doing their thing at the two locations on the late May bank.

Earlier today they wrote on their official X and Instagram accounts: "MALLORY KNOX 2024.

"See you at @slamdunkmusic.

"Merry Christmas x."

Their Instagram page was totally wiped, and now has just one post, while their last X post was in 2019 when they split.

Fans of the band were left over the moon with the news.

One wrote: "F**k, I've got tears in my eyes."

Another said: "The best news, been waiting for this for a while! So good to have you guys back!"

"This makes me so happy," a third chimed in.

A fourth added: "I'm crying! Can't believe you're back! it's been too long ffs."

Mallory Knox will be joined on stage by the likes of You Me At Six, The All American Rejects and Boys Like Girls.

The group are known for songs including Lights, Giving It Up, Oceans and Beggars.

Over the years the band have released four albums - Signals, Asymmetry, Wired and Mallory Knox.

Mallory Knox formed in 2009, but became popular in the tenties and played at Slam Dunk in 2012.

In 2018 lead vocalist Mikey left the band and formed another called Sky Research.

They went their separate ways in 2019 after their farewell tour.

"After 10 years, 4 albums and countless tours it’s time to announce that Mallory Knox has come to the end of the road,” Mallory Knox wrote on Facebook.

“Unfortunately we’ve reached the point where we feel we’ve taken Mallory as far as we can both professionally and personally.

“This isn’t an easy decision for us to make, ending something that we started when we were teenagers, but we’re grateful to all of you that have granted us the opportunity of a lifetime.

"We’ve decided that this tour is not only the perfect opportunity to promote what is our final record but also celebrate what has been an incredible decade with you all.”
