KATIE Price has revealed the reasons behind her choice not to follow doctors' recommendations for taking ADHD medication post-diagnosis.
Appearing on an episode of Jamie Laing's podcast, Private Parts, Katie candidly discussed her health diagnosis.
"Did they put you on medication or not?" Jamie asked.
Katie replied: "They have put me on something, but you can get Ritalin and all this stuff but I don't want to rely on medication.
"They've put me on something mild and it makes me really sleepy so I haven't taken it."
The former glamour model explained how she plans to see her consultant because of the effects of the medication.

"It makes me really sleepy and I don't want that because I feel like it suppresses my personality," she added.
Back in July, Katie revealed she had been diagnosed with ADHD.
The star has long suspected she has the condition as she previously revealed that she underwent tests last year to determine if she's living with undiagnosed ADHD.
The TV personality is famed for her consistently dramatic social and working life, and while getting therapy has asked for checks to whether she has a behavioural disorder.

Speaking to viewers on her OnlyFans page, Katie explained: "I went to see a doctor to see if I have ADHD and it turns out, I probably have!
"I have got some forms to fill out, say what I was like as a kid, my mum’s got to fill out forms and my dad, and then my next appointment is when I’m back from Thailand."
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is characterised on the NHS website as a condition that affects people's behaviour, often making them act impulsively and causing them to be restless.
In most cases, the diagnosis occurs at a young age, before becoming a teenager.
