Nick Carter’s sister Bobbie Jean dead at 41 one year after Aaron’s tragic passing
BOBBIE Jean, the sister of Nick and Aaron Carter, has reportedly died at 41.
Her death came just over a year after Aaron's tragic passing.
Matriarch Jane Carter confirmed her daughter's death to .
Jane said: "I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean.
"And I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time.
"When I am able to think clearly, I’ll release a fuller statement; but until then I would request to be left to grieve in private."
She continued: "However deeply a parent feels the loss of a child, the suffering of a young child at the loss of a parent must be much greater.
"So, I would ask the sympathetic to say a prayer for my precious eight-year-old granddaughter Bella, who previously lost her father and is now also left without her mother."
Bobbie Jean died on Saturday morning in Florida.
The cause of death has not yet been publicly disclosed.

TROUBLED PAST
In June, Bobbie Jean was arrested for allegedly stealing arts and craft goods from a Hobby Lobby store.
Law enforcement reportedly discovered that she was also in possession of fentanyl.
According to the arrest report obtained by , she was accused of stealing six items from the store in Hernando County, Florida.
The items were estimated at a total value slightly exceeding $55.
In 2002, Bobbie Jean was and accused of assaulting two women.
She claimed that the two women attacked her younger sister, Angel.
Bobbie Jean was the younger sister of Backstreet Boys singer Nick, 43, and the second of the five Carter children.
In 2006, she appeared in the family reality show, House Of Carters, which aired along with Nick and Aaron.
AARON'S DEATH
In November 2022, a spokesman for Bobbie Jean's late brother Aaron confirmed the singer was found dead in the bathtub of his home in Lancaster, California.
The LA County police arrived at the scene in the late morning.
At around 11 am, authorities received a report of a man having drowned inside his bathtub.
Law enforcement officials told The U.S. Sun at the time that “deputies did respond to the call," after which "they did find a deceased person in the tub."
It was later revealed the woman who found Aaron's body was house-sitting at his estate.
Deputies revealed that a house staffer discovered Aaron's body unresponsive and immediately called 911.
However, the star was pronounced dead at the scene.
A rep for the pop star confirmed the death in a released statement: "It is with great regret to confirm Aaron Carter was found unresponsive this AM in his home in Palmdale, CA.

"The family has been notified and will be flying out to Los Angeles. Aaron worked very hard towards the end of his life in recovery, to be a good father and to make amends with his family."
The statement concluded: "Unfortunately without proper recovery facilities available in our country and open borders, this is why we have an epidemic."
