IT’S the time of year for peace on earth and goodwill to all men – a sentiment which Britney Spears is taking seriously.
Insiders have told us that the US pop star is keen to reach out to her sister Jamie Lynn over the festive period in a bid to finally bury the hatchet following their hellish relationship over the past few years.
It seems that Jamie Lynn has Ant and Dec to thank, because it was her short but emotional stint on I’m A Celebrity which made Britney think twice.

A source said: “Britney was supportive of her sis going into the jungle and maintained interest while Jamie Lynn was in Oz.
“A lot of water has passed under that bridge — and given it is Christmas, Britney is keen to try and put some of their past issues to bed.

“It’s baby steps but it all seems positive.”
