Rod Stewart spotted waiting for wife Penny Lancaster to finish Christmas shopping in Zara in Central London
ROCKER Rod Stewart bears it well — waiting for his wife to finish Christmas shopping.
He tried not to look bored as Penny Lancaster tried on clothes.
But the singer, 78, was overheard moaning when she took too long eyeing up handbags and gladrags in London’s Oxford Street.
At one point he whined: “Are you going to be much longer?
"Can’t we go back to The Ritz?”
Sir Rod was in Scots tartan for a day out with Penny, 52, a City of London Police special constable.

He earlier posted a pic of his outfit on Instagram.
An eyewitness told TalkTV: “Rod came in to the Zara store with Penny and was helping her to pick out a few items.
“She gathered an armful of outfits and went into the changing room.
"Rod did what any bloke would and found the nearest place to sit and wait.

“Penny was taking her time and Rod was getting impatient, asking if she was ready to go back to the Ritz hotel.
“It was funny to see this star behaving like any other bloke out shopping with his partner.”
