"It’s when you are privileged enough to live long enough to watch yourself get older. It’ll happen to you too if you’re lucky."
Duncan was also more than happy with the results, telling fans: "My skin is absolutely glowing."
Despite the trolling, Duncan's treatment was not surgical.
Skin expert Rebecca Elsdon who treated Duncan told The Sun: "As a leading expert for problematic skin conditions, Duncan came to me with concerns regarding his Rosacea. I advised Duncan to have the BYONIK treatment, which is a targeted approach to combating skin conditions which can affect both physical and psychological well being.
"The BYONIK treatment focuses on improving overall skin health and promoting the natural rejuvenation of the skin."
Rosacea is characterised by a constant redness of the skin. It’s caused by the blood vessels underneath widening (dilating), as well as small bumps and pus-filled spots, the British Association of Dermatologists says.
Rebecca continued: "Offering a comprehensive approach to enhancing the skin, it is used to address inflammatory issues like eczema, dermatitis, acne, and rosacea.
"It can work to boost the skin's immunity and natural defences, which after COVID many people are struggling with.
"The treatment aligns perfectly with the current wellness trend in the aesthetic industry, making it an appealing choice for a broad range of clients, like Duncan, seeking skin improvement and overall confidence."
The 45-year-old has been getting in ship shape as he prepares to go n tour with Blue next year.
