‘Kindness costs nothing’ says Helen Flanagan as she hits back at mum-shamers after being trolled over sexy lingerie pics

HELEN Flanagan insisted “kindness costs nothing” as she clapped back at cruel mum-shamers.
The former Coronation Street actress, 33, starred on Wednesday’s Lorraine and was quizzed by stand-in host Ranvir Singh, 46, about the unkind remarks she is subject to from a portion of her Instagram following.
Helen has been mum-shamed for everything for drinking wine in a snap showing her kids to her sizzling lingerie pictures.
She has also been called out by trolls after going on holiday to Ibiza without her kids as well as being cruelly mum-shamed for her son’s temper tantrums.
After being asked about the keyboard bullies, Helen replied: “I think kindness costs nothing.
“I always try to be as kind as I can.
“I just don’t understand the mentality of it – everyone has mental health, I have been open with mine.
“There’s just no need.”
The Rosie Wenbster star then added: “Kindness costs nothing.
“I just ignore it – but I don’t like it if I have had unkind things about my children.”
Helen is proud parent to daughters, Matilda and Delilah and son, Charlie.
She told how she would be taking her youngest, aged two, on tour with her when she plays the role of Miss Scarlett in the stage production of board game Cluedo.
She then opened up on spending Christmas without her kids for the first time.
The ITV favourite shares her brood with her footballer ex Scott Sinclair, 34, but the distance between their homes makes co-parenting tricky.
n a new interview with, Helen said the children will spend December 25th with Scott and their nanna in Bath – 190 miles from her home in Bolton.
She said: “My children really miss their daddy and they’re very close to their nanna, so they’re going to spend Christmas with them. I won’t have them for about four days.
“It will actually be the first Christmas that I don’t have my children.”
However, Helen still has festive fun ahead as she will be taking the children, and her friends, to Bali to ring in the New Year.
