GEMMA Collins had viewers in stitches during an appearance on Alan Carr’s New Year Specstacular.

The Towie star, 35, recapped the most memorable moments of 2016 from around the world while revealing her dream to run for Prime Minister.

Gemma said: “I really think I should run the country.

“I mean, it’s just a bit of fun, like, Theresa May should come and run my boutique in Essex and I think I should take over.

“It’s all too serious… like 2016 has been one hell of a year.

She added: “Sadly lots of people have, like, died.

“There was the Brexit… and something else big happened? Oh yeah, [Donald] Trump.

“It’s just all been a bit depressing! So if I was running this country I’d make every bus pink, I would project myself on Big Ben and make it that everybody has fun."

Amused viewers flocked to Twitter to express their hilarity.
