BEFORE she was a fashion designer, Victoria Beckham dabbled a bit in pop music and apparently as a psychic.

The artist formerly known as Posh Spice is being awarded an OBE for her service to fashion and charity in the Queen's New Year's Honours list, but she predicted the move years ago in one of her pop videos.

In the video for her last ever single, Let Your Head Go, the former Spice Girl can be seen waking from a dream to find a box with an OBE in it that she tries to grab.

The single reached number three when it was released in 2003 and marked the last time the singer released solo music, with her instead focusing on her fashion career.

And it appears to have worked with the singer being honoured for that new career with an OBE.

Mum-of-five Victoria  is said to be “delighted and humbled for the recognition”.

Her charitable work has been recognised too, with the insider adding: “She is especially thrilled that her philanthropic work as a UNAIDS goodwill ambassador, creating a voice and awareness for women with HIV that suffer prejudice and discrimination, has been recognised in this way.”

Victoria, 42, was named as a UN Goodwill Ambassador in 2014.

Speaking at the UN building in New York, the former singer said she was “honoured” and wanted to help women around the world.

In her passionate speech, she added: “I am mother and I am a woman. I will do whatever I can to raise awareness. I feel very passionate about this.

“I recently visited South Africa and was so touched by the women I met and felt inspired. I came home and I knew I had to do something.

“It's taken me to get to 40 to realise I have a responsibility as a woman and as a mother.

“For some reason people will listen to me. This is the beginning of an incredible journey for me.”

Victoria’s husband David received an OBE in 2003.

David called it his proudest moment. He said: “That day was special for me because I brought my grandparents with me.

"It made me proud that I could bring them to somewhere that they worshipped for their whole lives.

“Meeting the Queen, it doesn't get better than that.

“You can feel the emotion, I can personally feel the emotion, because I just love everything about our Queen and what she represents. We all look for role models, we all look for leaders.

“I'm privileged and proud that we have the number one leader.”
