Kylie Jenner urged to launch a pop career by Charli XCX as fans think she’s secretly fronting new band Terror Jr
Rumours have been circling that Kylie plans to launch her own music career in 2017
CHARLI XCX has urged Kylie Jenner to launch a pop career in 2017.
The Boom Clap singer has said she would love to see the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star become a fully fledged music sensation next year.
Charli took to Twitter to write: "I hope kylie jenner becomes a popstar in 2017 💕.
"Like IMAGINE how good the debut kylie jenner album would be?! so many hits/feats/skits plus an epic deluxe edition w incredible packaging."
While Kylie, 18, has not responded to Charli's wishes, rumours have been circulating for months that the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan is planning to put her stamp on the music industry.
While she has denied she's the singer for new band Terror Jr, many fans are convinced she's the frontwoman for the group, whose songs have been used on promos for her beauty products.
Lisa Terror, who is said to be the singer of the group doesn't show her face in band photos, wearing only a pink wig.
As well as this, their new song, '3 Strikes' was recently registered to American Society of Composers with Kylie listed as a performer.
Kylie is also the only person the band's Instagram and Twitter accounts follow despite having more than 27,000 followers across both platforms.
A source recently told Grazia magazine that Kylie wants to keep her new career a secret.
The insider said: "She's enjoyed keeping people guessing, especially because the Kardashian name usually comes before anything else but the plan was always to come clean.
"Music's something none of the other sisters have done, so she can really take ownership of it."
Earlier this year, Kylie starred in the video for 3 Strikes and in October she revealed her ambitions to become a singer via her app.
She wrote: "I have some crazy talented friends with beautiful voices, like Justin Skye I really would love to be able to sing!!! It’s the one talent I wish I had.
"Yeah, I’ve kinda played around … but to be able to really, really sing would be such a dream," she mused. "Jordyn [Woods] says I can, but isn’t that what best friends are supposed to say?"
Big sis Kim Kardashian, 36, has already dipped her toes in the world of pop stardom, recording 'Jam (Turn It Up)' back in 2011.
