George Michael’s heartbroken boyfriend Fadi Fawaz deletes link to ‘unheard’ ballad amid legal row
Lawyers for George’s estate have called for the track to be taken down and removed from the internet
GEORGE Michael’s heartbroken boyfriend has taken down a link to a touching "unheard" ballad amid a legal row.
Fadi Fawaz, 43, shared the late Wham singer’s unpublished song This Kind of Love with grieving fans as part of a tribute to George — leading many to call for the song to be officially released.
But lawyers for George’s estate have called for the track to be taken down and removed from the internet, citing intellectual property rights.
More than 100,000 people have listened to the song online, which is said to have been produced with George’s close pal Elton John in the early 1990s.
The "lost" ballad includes the tragic line: “Now everyone has to get over I know, but this empty house seems to get colder and colder.”
Those in charge of George’s estate claim the star did not want the song released and “unauthorised reproductions” are an “exploitation of the material”.
It is not clear if George’s family are behind the move.
Fadi, a hair stylist, removed the link hours after he first posted it on Twitter.

He then posted another message, apparently aimed at those trying to prevent fans from hearing it.
He wrote: “The song I posted was found online they are many versions of it, please do your research if u think you r professional in what u do.”
