Kanye West decides he won’t be running for president and following Donald Trump into the White House

The rapper previously stated he’d be running for president in 2024

KANYE West has reportedly decided that he won’t be running to become the next president of the United States.

The rapper, 39, has long told Americans that he was reaching for the White House and even recently met with President Elect Donald Trump, however following his breakdown sources close to him say that the gruelling campaign trail would affect his mental health.

“He may have hung out with Donald Trump, but that didn’t make him any more focused on politics,” an insider told The Daily Star.

“His summer moves and plans have all been put on the back-burner with everything that is happening.”

It’s also believed that Kanye running for office would pose too much of a threat to his and wife Kim Kardashian’s security.

On the morning of December 8 the Stronger star held a 15-minute meeting with the next president of the United States at Trump Tower in New York.

After the talks, they posed for pictures together and Trump declared: “We’ve been friends for a long time. Life, we were discussing.”

Kanye then revealed exactly what they talked about, including bullying and violence in his hometown of Chicago, and dropped a big hint about his own political plans.

The hip-hop star tweeted: “I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues…

“These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago…

“I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change…”

Then in an election bombshell added: “#2024.”
