Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley shows off a VERY rounded tummy in funny ‘food baby’ selfie

CORONATION Street star Catherine Tyldesley revealed her rather large 'food' baby as she shared a playful snap with fans on Instagram.

The actress took to social media to post the image of her bloated stomach after enjoying a hearty Christmas feast with her family.

Catherine lifted up her top to reveal her rounded stomach as she wrote: "Day 2 of 'food baby' ... and I avoided gluten and lactose! My tummy is so sensitive!

"Fish and greens protocol next week methinks! #bringonthecleanse #detoxweek."

One fan commented: "Same rite now.My tummy goes like this always after large meals or an evening of Over indulging since I've had children ( iv 4) refreshing to see a celebrity being so real ! Tho by morning it's back to being normal x"

While others mistook the picture for a real pregnancy announcement as one wrote: "I thought that you were pregnant!!"

Catherine had been sure to share sweet images from her Christmas day with her 152,000 followers.

The soap star revealed that she had dressed up as an elf alongside her 20-month-old son Alfie while her husband Tom Pitfield transformed into Santa Claus.

Catherine was all smiles as she told fans: "Merry Christmas from The Pitfield's!!!!"

The actress/singer then shared a sweet clip of herself and her son acting out a scene from Disney megahit, Frozen.

She wrote: "Alfie James in his favorite scene from 'Frozen'. Mummy as 'Anna', Alfie as 'Elsa' ....21 months old ...if this kid ain't an actor I'll eat my hat."
