TV star Lorraine lost over two stone through dancing and in her latest DVD she looks better than ever

LORRAINE Kelly has ditched her ‘wee cardigans’ and shown off her her incredible, toned body in a new photo shoot.

The TV star has just released workout DVD Brand New You with her trainer Maxine Jones and in this shoot from Fit & Well Magazine, the 57-year-old looks better than ever.

As well as looking incredible, it’s clear Lorraine feels amazing too, telling the magazine she’s proud of her new look.

Lorraine said: “I’ve been doing Maxine’s class for three years now and it’s the only exercise I’ve ever kept up.

“I’m a size 10-12, probably nearer a 10, and I’m happy with how I look - that's not something I ever thought I'd say three years off my 60th birthday!

“If you’d said to me three years ago I’d be sitting on my show in little summer dresses showing my arms off, I’d have laughed out loud!

“I always wore a wee cardi to cover up!”

Alongside speaking about her new-found confidence in Fit & Well, Maxine reveals the secret behind Lorraine’s body – including all the tricks she used to tone up her arms, stomach and bottom.

Lorraine feels inspired by her health kick and has even hinted she could be planning something very special for her 60th birthday, adding: “I’d never say never to running another marathon.”

Speaking about her DVD earlier this month, Lorraine told The Sun Online she’d “taken things up a gear”.

She explained: “This DVD is more intense and will really get you working every single muscle with each dance.

“I think it’s really important for women to feel strong and empowered through exercise.

“I look around big cities and see young girls who are dangerously overweight and I just want to reach out to them.

“It does really terrify me. We have a massive problem. I don’t want to see young girls die before their time because they are fat.

“We have to be braver in saying the ‘F’ word. We can’t hide the fact it is a problem.”
