David and Victoria Beckham’s lavish Cotswold pile disrupted as neighbour wins major planning row
DAVID and Victoria Beckham’s lavish Cotswolds pile has become a rural idyll for their family after they bought it in 2016.
Earlier this week, the former England captain was proudly showing off his green-fingered handiwork after starting to grow his own veg right next to his beehives, which he raids for his Sticky Stuff honey.
But it seems their peace and quiet could soon be turned upside down after a neighbour won planning permission to build a huge house on a piece of land next to theirs.
The plans, which have finally been given the green light by the local council, will allow builders three years to put up the mammoth abode, which features a swimming pool and tennis court.
A local said: “David and Victoria’s home is pretty remote, and for a while now they’ve been able to enjoy the sweet silence of the countryside.
"But their peace and quiet will soon be tinged with the whirring of heavy machinery.

“They’ve had a fair bit of work done themselves over the years but now the tables have turned.”
I’m sure Posh and Becks will be more than accommodating to their new neighbours.
A welcoming jar of Dave’s Sticky Stuff ought to do the trick.
And maybe a pair of good ear defenders for Posh’s singing.

Mick in top nick
FOR a man who celebrated his 80th birthday in July, Mick Jagger is in ridiculously good shape.
The Rolling Stones frontman headed for a night out in London with his daughter Jade on Wednesday and posed for pictures at the screening of I’m Still Here for the Under One Sky charity.
Mick wore a baseball cap and grinned for the cameras as he prepared for some well-earned downtime before hitting the road.
The band confirmed my exclusive story revealing they would perform a string of huge gigs across the US next year for their album Hackney Diamonds.
I salute him. I’ll have my feet up with a pint when I hit the big 8-0.
Rita's a suit-ing star
RITA ORA has clearly taken the vow “what’s mine is yours” to heart.
The chart-topper appeared to have borrowed husband Taika Waititi's cream suit as they enjoyed a night out in London.
The couple were enjoying a cute date at celebrity haunt Chiltern Firehouse in London following the premiere of director Taika’s film Next Goal Wins.
Rita, meanwhile, is gearing up for her biggest performance of the year.
She will take to the stage at London’s O2 Arena next month as part of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball.
I hear she will team up with fellow hit-maker Joel Corry to perform their single Drinkin’ for the first time over here.
Also on the bill are Take That, Becky Hill and Jax Jones.
Miley’s mother of all songs
MILEY CYRUS has played an unreleased track at an intimate show for friends and family.
The former Disney star also performed Flowers live for the first time – eight months after the track’s ten-week stint at the top of the UK singles chart came to an end.
Miley’s boyfriend Maxx Morando, who inspired a large chunk of her No1 album Endless Summer Vacation, was in the audience for the gig at LA celeb haunt Chateau Marmont.
The new tune Miley performed is a stripped-back ballad believed to be called Don’t Let Me Down.
She sang: “Don’t leave me high, don’t let me down, ’cause I want you more than anything in the world.”
Later in the song, Miley adds: “Why you gotta go and change my life like that? You gave me what I wanted and now I can’t go back.”
In August Miley performed the track as her mum Tish walked down the aisle in a stunning outdoor wedding at the singer’s Malibu mansion.
Speaking after her mother married Australian actor Dominic Purcell, Miley told Vogue: “To see my mum this happy and in love is very emotional.
“They share the sweetest, most genuine love. It’s almost like it’s for the first time, which is so fitting for my mum who is such a young soul.
“Since they met, they both started ageing in reverse.”
Fans will be hoping that Miley drops the song as an early Christmas present.
Henry hit is out of this world
RISING star Henry Moodie has released a brand new single.
The Brit singer has dropped a classic pop power ballad called Orbit.
Henry has already gained a string of high-profile fans including Mimi Webb and Busted.
Since his debut track You Were There For Me last summer, he has gone on to clock up 160million streams worldwide.
By this time next year I reckon Henry will be everywhere.
Morgan’s art fit for a Prince
ARTIST Morgan Howell and photographer Jill Furmanovsky came together in a celebration of art and music on Wednesday.
They sat down with ex-Bizarre editor Dominic Mohan at The Barbican Music Library to chat about some of the famous music moments they’ve covered.
Jill has snapped stars including Oasis, Amy Winehouse and the Sex Pistols, while Morgan has been turning classic record sleeves into art pieces for years.
Morgan unveiled his latest piece at the event – a huge vinyl replica of Jamaican singer Prince Buster's 1964 hit, Al Capone.
If only I had a wall big enough to take it home to.
KATHERINE JENKINS is firmly on Santa's good list this year.
The classical music star will play her Home For Christmas concert at Swansea Arena on Saturday, with a handful of tickets still available.
But be quick, because the singer’s mum has organised a big crowd of supporters for the gig.

Katherine said: “My mum is running a bus trip from Neath (six miles down the road) so there will be many people in the audience who have supported me from a young age, and that’s why it’s important to me to give them the very best concert.”
I’m sure it’ll be a cracker.
