Marnie Simpson caught up in ‘drugs row’ after video of Geordie Shore star ‘huddled in a toilet cubicle’ circulates online

Reality favourite appears to have a mysterious substance on the back of her phone

MARNIE Simpson has been caught up in a drugs row after being filmed huddled over a phone in a Shrewsbury club toilet.

A video showing the Geordie Shore appearing to try and hide a phone - which has a line of an unknown white substance on the back - began circulating online in the early hours of the morning.

The clip, which was originally posted to Facebook, was shared by a girl claiming to be the sister of the person who made the video.

It is claimed that Marnie had the girl ejected from Shrewsbury's Inferno club after she filmed her and some friends crammed in to a toilet cubicle huddled over the phone.

The poster claims that she "got kicked out of Inferno because she caught Marnie Simpson" in a toilet cubicle with some suspicious substance on the back of a phone.

An eye-witness inside the club told The Sun online that a fracas erupted when she realised she was being videoed.

Women clubbers who were in the toilet became aware that Marnie was in one of the cubicles with her pals.

A video and pictures taken by a woman who climbed up to look over the top of the cubicle show Marnie holding a mobile with with appears to be a line of white substance on it.

When she realises she is being videoed Marnie shouts: "Oh my God" before ducking down.

The woman who shot the video on Boxing Day night said she was later ejected from the club.

She said: "I wanted a picture of Marnie so I climbed over the cubicle and I took a picture of Marnie.

"I then got thrown out."

Another clubber who was there added: "Marnie was furious about being filmed and stormed out of the toilet before carrying on her night as if nothing had happened."

Clubbers were charged £7 to have their photo taken with Marnie, Chris and Jon Clark from TOWIE and Sam Thompson from Made in Chelsea.

One nightclubber said: "It was a really good night and the club was packed.

"It was a shame this incident spoiled it for a few but after that settled down the night went on as normal."

Marnie's boyfriend Lewis Bloor, who she began dating after appearing on Celebrity Big Brother with him in July, was also at the club but does not appear in any of the footage.

However, he did pose for pictures with fans and in one posed up with Marnie looking casual in a camouflage jacket and baseball cap.

This morning Marnie hinted she had a bit of a headache after her outing to Shropshire.

She tweeted: "Had the best night last night. Paying for it now mind."

Twitter user Mollie O'Toole replied: "Bet you are. Hows ya nostrils?"

It was just last week that Marnie told her fans that she was "Excited for the next month to just relax but I can safely say this is Gona be the soberest Xmas & new year I've ever had And I'm ok about it."

Yesterday, hours prior to rampaging through the mid-west of England,  Marnie had revealed she had embraced a new healthier lifestyle, telling her fans that she had been to the gym - and was feeling healthier after a lifestyle change.

She said: "After over 6 month of being poorly I'm finally staying to feel a little better. All down to a healthier life style and diet. So happy."

With such a spring in her step it's no surprise she decided to go out raving.

A rep for Marnie declined to comment.
