BBC Radio 1 reveals FOUR new presenters in major shake-up – and they’ll start appearing this month
A WAVE of new talent is set to take to the BBC Radio 1 airwaves as early as this month.
The radio station has appointed four new presenters to front the Friday morning Early Breakfast show on the network.
The BBC will be welcoming four up and coming faces to front the programme on a monthly rotational basis.
It will see them joining a whole host of stars already on the airwaves including Greg James, Mollie King, Jordan North, Vick Hope and Matt Edmonson.
Among the most notable of the four names lined up is DJ and presenter Lauren Layfield.
Lauren is expected to make her debut on the show in 2024 but it isn't her first time to brand into mainstream radio broadcasting.
