Big Brother’s Tom defends slamming fan favourite Yinrun after he branded her a ‘game-player’ and ‘fake’
BIG Brother star Tom Bryant has defended slamming fan favourite Yinrun Huang as a "game-player".
It comes after ITV was embroiled in a new bullying row after furious fans hit out at Tom for his "vendetta" against customer support agent Yinrun, 25.
Butcher Tom has now insisted that he made those brutal remarks about Yinrun after being "cooped up" in the spare room with "nothing to do all day".
He admitted that he had "lost his mind" and his thoughts began to "eat away" at him during those 48 hours.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Tom said: "I think in a way I should have taken Yinrun's answer I got in the evictions, I think I was a bit confused and wanted a bit more reassurance on that...it was me looking at it wrong I guess.
"I do think I did lose my mind in that box, I won't lie. I was in a place to lose your mind.

"It was very claustrophobic, you couldn't go outside for a cigarette if you needed to, there was no natural lighting.
"It was just a case of you cooped up in there with nothing to do all day.
"It's a place where you thoughts eat up at you I guess."
When asked if he regrets not using the opportunity to win over some voters, instead of slamming his fellow co-stars, Tom replied: "I think that I could have probably handled myself better in the box but in a way I did sort of lose myself in there.

"I'm not the sort of person to go shouting and screaming at people.
"Before we got back in the house I was like 'I don't want my last moments in here to be a case of just going in there and shouting at people', because that would put a real damper on my experience when I look back on it, I didn't want to ruin my experience.
"Maybe if I had got the chance to return to the house, maybe it would have been different and I would have voiced my feelings a bit stronger."
The Somerset lad accused Yinrun of "playing a game" and acting childlike to win over support.
When asked if he still believes Yinrun is game-playing, Tom said: " I'm not sure...I think everyone in the house is there being themselves and it is what it is at this point.
"I don't know really, in a way I think with how it's been in the house, it's been how it's been since day one."
While fellow evictee Jenkin added: "When we watched her in the diary room, our opinions even changed that night saying that maybe we have read her wrong. We just sort of wanted answers."
Tom was incredibly critical of his co-stars during his time in the Spare Room, but he changed his tune when he said his farewells.
He accused them of "talking s***" and "licking each other's a****" during a moment of anger.

After he and Jenkin were told that they were evicted, he told the housemates: "I wish you all the best and hope you have a great few days and enjoy yourselves."
Jenkin told the house that they had been treating Big Brother "like a children's show", while Jordan jokingly said they had been "too cheerful".
