Scarlett Moffatt reveals she’s engaged to boyfriend Scott Dobinson five months after welcoming their first child

SCARLETT Moffatt is engaged to boyfriend Scott Dobinson, five months after they became parents.

The Gogglebox legend shared the happy news on instagram this afternoon.

Scarlett, 33, shared a snap of the romantic proposal scene, which showed baby son Jude sat next to an illuminated sign saying: “Marry me”.

On the floor were scattered an array of rose petals while silver and purple helium balloons surrounded the room.

Scarlett captioned the post: “Mondays are my new favourite day. Walked in to find my soulmate on one knee, with baby Jude wearing the cutest outfit asking the question ‘Mammy will you marry Daddy.’

“The most perfect proposal in my favourite place, our home
I truly am on cloud nine, feel so lucky, it feels incredible being able to share this will you all, I always wished for this.”

Scarlett then shared a second image of Jude beaming, which showed off the special message on his babygro more clearly.

She was quickly flooded with well wishes in the comments section.

Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies wrote: “So bloody thrilled for you all this is amazing news!!!”

Kate Lawler added: “The absolute cutest! Love that Jude was involved. Congratulations my love xxx”

Christine McGuinness penned: “Congratulations! So happy for you angel.”

Fellow Gogglebox star Rev Kate Bottley chipped in: “Congratulations xx.”

Scarlett has been in a relationship with Scott since 2019 but the pair have known each other “for years”.

She briefly broke up with the policeman in March 2021 but they were back together just 24 hours later.
